What Else?
Sparks of inspiration, photography and personal projects that I like to do outside of the advertising world. Experiences that tend to fire back into my commercial work. Inspiration can come from outside or you can create it yourself. I have often found new ways to create inspiring moments by experimenting and playing with unusual techniques and concepts.

Wave Fragment
Wave Fragment is a kinetic sculpture by artist Verena Bachl. Based on fluid dynamics, it creates a space to contemplate about themes such as nature and our relationship with it. With my camera I always loved to explore and play with surfaces. Sometimes I find almost surreal environments.

Twentynine Palms Motel
While preparing for a somehow other-worldly motorcycle commercial, I suddenly found myself in what seemed to be a set reminiscent of the kind that David Lynch would have loved.

Sleepless in Mexico
With an eight-hour time difference, it's no wonder you first wake up at 2:45 am. By 5:00 am, sleep is no longer an option. So, I grab my camera and wander through the streets of La Condesa.

Berlin Nights
some people walk the dog in the evening, I take my camera out. I’ve gotten into the habit of wandering around my hometown Berlin when I have a few hours in the evening, to capture the atmosphere of the city and experiment.

Automat
I always wanted to translate music into abstract moving images and create an unreal, hypnotic world that draws you in. Everything had to be shot in-camera. Computer-generated effects were completely avoided.

Seaphony

South Korea
In 2021, during the pandemic, I spent three months in South Korea working on several commercials. It was an incredibly intense time, full of impressions and experiences. In the few free hours I had, I tried to condense the special atmosphere of my new environment and capture it in a series of images.

Infra Red
I love to work with unusual photographic techniques. b&w infrared photography transforms our world into a bewildering and wonderous world.

The Beauty of Parking
Carchitecture or the beauty of parking. A journey through the parking lots of the republic. Temples and ruins of our century.

Scouting LA
Location scouting: Probably the best period before a shoot, and I like to invest a lot of time in it. When you finally get to see the finished film, you feel like it was all worth it.
